There is a general service charge for all repairs carried out on ESU decoders which do not fall in the statutory free warranty period.
The price level of the service charges is based on the experienced data of our service department. Therefore we would like to inform you in advance about the several amounts of costs. Depending on how bad the damage is, we will repair or replace the item by a new one. The decision varies from case to case.
For the articles and problems listed below we cannot offer any kind of quotation. For all other questions and issues please do not hesitate to contact us in advance.

All prices include 19% VAT as well as the shipping costs (from ESU/Germany to the recipient).
Our charges for repair are priced as low as possible to grant you fast and cost-saving help in the case of damage. Our prices are based on a mixed calculation and are steadily used when the return is no case of warranty.
The service charges stated here are only granted for ESU products. Decoders which have been pre-installed into a locmotive ex factory, have to be claimed directly to the manufacturer of the loco. Alternatively, you are able to make use of our exchange fee and have the decoder replaced into the latest version by ESU. However there are not all sound types available; they need to be adjusted to the current state of technology first.
